Cyanobacteria are oxygen-evolving photoautotrophs with worldwide distribution in every possible habitat, and they account for half of the global primary productivity. Because their ability to thrive a hostile environment, cyanobacteria categorized as “extremophiles”. They have evolved fascinating repository distinct secondary metabolites biomolecules promote development survival various habitats, including severe conditions. However, developing new proteins/enzymes is mostly directed by an appropriate gene regulation system that results stress adaptations. only few proteins been characterized date potential improve resistance against abiotic stresses.
